2021 Las Vegas My Brother’s Keeper Alliance Conference
School & Community Empowerment Strategies for Engaging Young Men of Color
Tuesday, Feb. 16 & Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021 from 8 a.m. to noon each day.

The annual Las Vegas My Brother’s Keeper Alliance conference provides the Southern Nevada community, and applicable statewide community members, (e.g., school administration, law enforcement, juvenile justice teams, legislators and community members) with the information and tools to end disproportionate minority contact. The conference includes data presentations and targeted discussions of best practices by national experts, youth, local law enforcement, and policymakers. This conference will focus on community-level approaches for building a culture of good mental health for boys and young men of color; School and community actions to end structural/institutional racism and lastly, empowerment and advocacy strategies for engaging young black males.
